In this era of globalitation global warming is arguably the most critical and controversial issue facing the world. The average temperature of Earth has increases since 1950 until now the temperature continuing increasing. In general, Global Warming is an event of
increasing average temperatures in the layers of the atmosphere and the surface
of the earth. Global warming can also refers to climate change that causes an
increase in the average of temperature. However global warming are causes by
natural events and human that are believed to be contribute to increase in
average temperatures. For that global warming has a harmful effect for the
earth and life therein.
The natural causes of global warming
consist of several natural events such as volcanic eruptions that causes global
warming. For instance, a volcanic eruption will release amount of carbon
dioxide and ash to the atmosphere. Once carbon dioxide increase, the
temperature of earth increase and greenhouse trap the solar radiations in the
earth. The greenhouse effect is the atmospheric process of warming the planet.
The greenhouse effect occurs due to the
heat reflected to the surface of the earth trapped by the gases in the
atmosphere, so that it can not be transmitted into space, but is reflected back
to the surface of the Earth.
In addition human that cause global
warming are more than natural causes global warming. The earth has been
changing for many years until now it is still changing because of modern
lifestyle of human. Human activities include industrial production, burning
fossil fuel, mining, cattle rearing or deforestation that cause global warming
in which the impact is far more dangerous than the natural causes of global
warming.
Because of Natural causes and human causes,
global warming has an enormous impact or effect which certainly affects life on
earth, especially human life, such as the icebergs will melt; Rainfall will
increase and storms will occur frequently; groundwater is rapidly evaporating
which will cause drought; the wind will blow faster with different patterns
that can form a tornado; the weather becomes more predictable and more extreme,
be it extreme rain or extreme drought; Increasing sea level rise will cause
Tsunami, floods and islands to sink; causes drought in agricultural areas so
that crops will be damaged; can lead to crop failure resulting from extreme
weather with floods resulting in agricultural crops being submerged; increased
food pests resulting from climate change; the population of animals and plants
will decrease; widespread diseases that can affect humans such as dengue,
malaria; increased cases of people dying from hot weather such as heart,
stroke, dehydration, and stress.
In conclusion, the natural causes and
human causes are the factors of global warming which both have adverse effects
on the survival of the earth, especially for human life. But the global warming
causing the most dangerous factors is human causes because of the modern human
activities that consciously have damaged the environment and nature such as
industrial production, fossil fuel combustion, mining, cattle ranching and
deforestation.
